Asian Heritage Month Opening forum facilitated by Dr. Shirley Chau will be on May 8th 6pm to 8pm. Several interesting topics will be discussed including " heritage language learning and children of visible minority status communities ".
It is so important for us , the visible minorities, to stand strong together to fight anti-racism for ourselves and for our next generation especially during pandemic.
PLEASE share this with your friends and families. CANADA IS BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE OF ALL OF US.
Mung Bean cake is one of the signature Taiwanese pastry. Many of us who grow up in Taiwan had certainly enjoyed in the past and have since missed it very much. GREAT news for those who are Mung Bean cake lover and those who have never tried it. We are so delighted to have Mr. Yen who will be teaching us virtually how to bake Mung Bean cake via Facebook live on April 30 7:30pm PST
Thanks to Swahili Vision International Association and Minister Anne Kang for having us. It is such an honor to be able to hear so many inspirational stories from your members as well as members from Kelowna Taiwan Cultural society.
